Reformer Foundations
Slow, precise and a little humbling. You will use muscles you had forgotten about, and you will be told exactly which ones.
Reformer Pilates does the first. Meditative yoga and singing bowl sound baths do the second. Most weeks need both, which is why they are in the same building.
Small groups on professional Merrithew reformers, taught in the STOTT PILATES method. The machine will not let you cheat, and the class is small enough that your instructor notices if you try.
Expect precision rather than intensity for its own sake.

Continuous. Little rest between exercises, and your legs will mention it tomorrow.
The other half of the studio lowers the volume. Slower movement, longer holds, and in the sound bath, no movement at all.
Three classes, deliberately. We would rather run a short schedule properly than a long one thinly.
You lie down, close your eyes, and let resonance do the work. Some people fall asleep. That is a perfectly good outcome.
Gentle movement to open the body, then long supported holds on bolsters and blankets. It begins as yoga and ends much closer to rest.
More physical than you expect, and more practical. You leave with something you can actually use on your own, in a car park, before a hard meeting.
You do not need to choose between the two sides. You do need to pick a first class, so here is the short version.
Start here. Two private sessions first is an option if you would rather learn the machine without an audience, but most people do not need it.
It asks nothing of you at all, and no experience is needed. Slow Flow & Restore instead if you would rather move a little first.
Two classes, one from each side. The honest way to find out which half you actually came for.
Some goals do not fit a group room — a body recovering from injury, an athlete chasing something specific, or simply wanting to learn the reformer without an audience. Private sessions are one instructor, one reformer, and a plan built entirely around you.
One for the body, one for the mind — or any combination. Packs work across both sides.
